Amongst all these resistive forces in a modern passenger car, depending on the driving conditions and tire specifications, about 20–30% of total fuel consumption is related to rolling resistance. The resistance vehicle still rather unknown research should be conducted able estimate it reliably accurately. This accuracy particularly necessary at scale single reduce consumption, considering that coefficient dimensionless quantity with an order magnitude 1 2%. purpose this paper develop input adaptive gain estimation algorithm for accurate vehicle. motivated by fact solution most suitable because variable dynamics continuous change situation during real situation. Their robustness modelling error, parameter uncertainty noise used detect variation input. developed approach validated experimentally relative mean error less than 10%. experiments were done University Gustave Eiffel test tracks.
